I had ordered an IC sample from Texas Instruments on 2nd of July, I got the parcel yesterday it was a very big box, about 1feet x 1feet size. Here’s a pic
I opened it up to found a wood wrap in which a soft white paper was packed, I opened up the paper cover, inside it was an electrostatic pouch, (I was gettin excited as the IC sample which i ordered was a $50 IC) opened it up, inside it was a plastic pouch, opened it up another plastic pouch, inside the pouch was a small container(about 5mmx5mm), and inside it was the IC, it was 2mmx2mm in size. They sent me the IC a different fabricated package. The worst part is , it ha 28 pins under it, I don’t know how I am supposed to solder it at home. Here is the pic of the IC. That square little thing besides the swith is the IC. O.o
