Wowie, I have not written anything since a year. Now that’s the epicness of my laziness. But I will be posting now. I will post anything, regarding life, electronics etc… I just returned from Bangalore on Saturday, had been there for work. Some of it is left though, I will be leaving again after 2 weeks. Hoping to finally start again with MSP430 microcontrollers. I have received a bunch of them from Texas Instruments. Also a bunch of spi ADCs to be tested. Have to design a PCB for the same purpose. Planning to go with some schematic from Olimex maybe. Lets see how it turns out.

Rest day

Today is REST day and I am posting after a long time (read ages), lots of work done, mine as well as others in this semester, the college finally ended on tuesday. Submissions over. Now its time to study for the vivas. The project demo is on 2nd May. Need to make the powerpoint presentation for the same. Lets see how it goes.

Abhishek called up. Said will do vehicle assembly for the project tomorrow. It was planned to be done on monday. We were thinking of taking a off tomorrow, even abhishek wanted to. And now he calls up and says, we are doing work tomorrow. Nabbit he is. Now I have to figure out completely what all to be done tomorrow. n00bhishek

Why think so much ?

This one thing is swirling around my brain, why girls think so much ?. I mean they have good brains, but waste it. The girl brain can think about thousand things at one instance of a time and derive conclusions from it. This brain is very caring, really too much, and it thinks most of the time about its loved ones. This in fact becomes the problem sometimes, the anxiety and the worry it creates sometimes when not needed.

This brain needs nice, cool explanations, since its the female brain, it has thought of all possible explanations it might encounter. So the explanation is supposed to be calm, explosive replies may increase the anxiety and the worry to much extent. Female brain is easily worried (read insanely caring), it is anxious about every other thing, about emotions, pain etc. The brains does not sometime takes into consideration the fact that the male brains also have the same emotions, anxiety etc.

The difference is in the thinking, perceiving and displaying the traits. Boys don’t show their feelings most of the time, this makes them look emotionless, illogical in front of the girls.Girls think boys don’t really care about them on the basis of petty things which for boys are sometimes just “one other thing”. The fact that girls fight more than boys proves this. I fired up google trends to do this, I just searched for “boys fight” and “girls fight”. This is what I got .

There were not many search results for boys fights. I tried to Rank by boys fights. Google gave an error “boys fights do not have enough search volume for ranking”. So it shows that many fights related to girls have made it to google which is quite not a surprise. These all fights are mainly result of insane thinking of the female brain. Boys just don’t fight mostly, they just ,heck don’t give care a damn about petty things and they don’t thing on “nothing” which sometimes girls do. Girls are nice, they care and all, but they should consider how boys are, they are dumb , but they do care…

Bad turn of events

MSD didn’t happen, yeah yeah I said it already. But thats not the only thing that happened bad. MOM is not taking DCom (Digital Communications) this semester , thats really bad and stupid. Ranjushree Pal is taking the subject X( . Pure form of stupidity happening at my college. Prabhu sir is not taking IS (Instrumentation systems) , which is more dreadful fact than MOM not taking DCom. Other than that VLSI was fine as of now, indepth fabrication, so it will be cool. Rahul Sir gave a very good introductory lecture, hoping for something good there

Pratik’s PC is not behaving the way it should be, windows crashed on it after clean reinstall !!, apparently he installed some drivers and now the PC is refusing to boot. He will be reinstalling it again tomorrow, since Abhishek took the XP CD!!!. Gave MOM‘s book back, the one I took from her last semester. Rahul Sir said he was appointed as our class teacher for us since our class is notorious and undisciplined, he said he is supposed to keep us in discipline. He told us, he didn’t actually digest the whole thing, so he has requested us to be disciplined to keep his izzat infront of the faculty .

Yesterday night managed to get the bipolar motor simulated. Will now be making the PCB for the thing. Me off now.

The Chronicles of MOM

The one thing I like about my college is that we have some fine teachers. I see most of my friends from other colleges complaining about their teachers for not completing the syllabus on time. On the other hand our teachers take extra lecture !!!, and they used to reopen our college one week prior to other colleges, though that tradition has been dropped since the arrival of our new Principal, since last year.

In my previous post I talked about MOM(Monica Mam). MOM gives a feeling like a mom literally, she just cares too much, is a fine teacher and says what comes first on her mind (literally). She just says what she has too no matter who is in her company or how many are in her company. Sometimes she is childish (read child-like) though, but thats cool even I am like that. Conversations with her are all time classics, One of my conversation with her is as below. It all started with me finding a small plane toy in my class. To get you the idea of the plane below is its pic.

Now I found this plane and was holding it in my hand and went to MOM’s table for some work. Below is the conversation. Its in Marathi with English translations.

Me: Hello mam.

MOM: Ha re kai zhala ? (Yes, what happened?)

Me: Kahi nahi mam thoda vicharaycha hota MFOC. (Nothing mam, just had to ask something in MFOC)

MOM: Te kai aahey tujhya hatah? (What is that in your hand?)

Me: Ha mam, Plane aahey. (Its a Plane.)

MOM: Dakhav mala. (Show me)

Tushar gives plane toy to MOM

MOM: Wah Chaan aahey (Wow, nice it is)

Me: Yeah mam

MOM: Tuzha aahey? (Is it yours?)

Me: Nahi mam class madhe bhetla. (No mam, found it in the class)

MOM: Biscuits barobar milta na? (You get it with biscuits na?)

Me: Ha mam bahutek.. (Yeah mam maybe)

MOM: Tu jama karto? (You collect them?)

Me: Ha karto, (Yes I do)

MOM: Chan banavtat na khelni. (They make good toys na)

Me: Ha mam

Tushar takes plane from mam and open the cover and tells

Me: Hey baga mam open sudhha hoto. (See mam it opens up also)

MOM: Ha reee! chan aahey. (yeahh, its good)

after this much we moved to MFOC

This is how my MOM is but shes cool and a great teacher. . I have kept the plane with me, reminds me of her everytime I see it

MSD gone..

Had gone to college yesterday to get my groups project sanctioned. We went to the head of our electronics department. She liked our idea and sanctioned it in 5 minutes, so we were kinda excited. But it was only short lived because she said “This year the college is not going to offer MSD”, that made me sad, because MSD is one subject which i really wanted to have it on my results . But then Mihir has MSD notes so I will try to make up from it. Will be taking IP(Image Processing) now as an elective. On my college trip I also met MOM (Monica Mam). Shes kind of a teacher which gives a Mommy feeling more about her in future posts .
